Description
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small molecule that switches on the estrogen-related receptors (ERRs), nuclear receptors that help run mitochondrial energy production in muscle. We supply it as 250 mcg capsules, 60 per bottle, Available analytical documentation is listed in the COA library.

What SLU-PP-332 is.
Thomas Burris’s group developed it at Saint Louis University, which is where the SLU comes from. The literature often calls it an exercise mimetic.
Despite their name, estrogen-related receptors do not bind estrogen. They control genes for fat oxidation and mitochondrial function. SLU-PP-332 is not a peptide but a small aromatic hydrazone, and it has not been tested in human clinical trials.

What the research looks at.
Mouse studies published from 2023 onward report more oxidative, fatigue-resistant muscle fibres, higher energy expenditure and fat oxidation, and longer running endurance. It has also been tested in diet-induced obesity models. All of these findings are preclinical.

Documentation.
Available analytical documentation is organized by compound, strength and format in the COA library. Do not treat a report as lot-specific unless a documented lot match is shown.
Handling.
The capsules come pre-measured in a sealed bottle, so there is nothing to reconstitute. Keep the bottle tightly closed somewhere cool and dry, away from heat, humidity and direct light.
Questions.
Why is it called an exercise mimetic?
In mouse studies it switched on gene programs that endurance exercise normally activates.
Is SLU-PP-332 a peptide?
No. It is a small molecule, listed with our peptides because it is used in similar metabolic research.
Does it bind estrogen receptors?
No. The estrogen-related receptors are their own family, and estrogen does not switch them on.
