Description

TB-500 is a lab-made peptide modelled on thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), a 43-amino-acid protein found in nearly every human cell. We supply it in capsule form, 500 mcg per capsule and 60 per bottle, Available analytical documentation is listed in the COA library.

Chemical identity & storage

Compound / component CAS number Molecular weight Specification status
TB-4 fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ) 885340-08-9 889.02 g/mol
Formula: C38H68N10O14
Formulation-specific label specification for capsules, sprays, GLOW and KLOW.

This capsule is the acetylated TB-4 fragment, not full-length thymosin beta-4.

Storage: Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place at controlled room temperature (15–25°C), protected from heat, light and moisture.

What TB-500 is.

Thymosin beta-4 is the cell’s main actin-sequestering protein. It holds single actin molecules and sets how fast they build into the filaments cells use to move and change shape. Researchers traced much of its activity to a short central stretch, residues 17 to 23, with the sequence LKKTETQ.

In the market, TB-500 means either full-length synthetic Tβ4 or the acetylated fragment Ac-LKKTETQ. The COA for your lot confirms which one you have. Despite the name, TB-500 has nothing to do with Thymosin Alpha-1.

What the research looks at.

Thymosin beta-4 has been studied in cell migration and wound closure, new blood vessel growth, heart-injury models (including epicardial progenitor cells), corneal repair and hair follicles. Most of that work used the full-length protein in animals and cells. Little has been done by the oral route, which is part of why the capsule format gets studied on its own terms.

Where else you’ll find it.

TB-500 is part of the BPC-157 + TB-500 blend, as a vial, capsules or spray. It is also in the GLOW and KLOW blends.

Documentation.

Available analytical documentation is organized by compound, strength and format in the COA library. Do not treat a report as lot-specific unless a documented lot match is shown.

Handling.

The capsules come pre-measured in a sealed bottle, so there is nothing to reconstitute. Keep the bottle tightly closed somewhere cool and dry, away from heat, humidity and direct light.

Questions.

Is TB-500 the same as thymosin beta-4?

It is a synthetic peptide based on thymosin beta-4. Depending on the lot it may be the full protein or its active LKKTETQ fragment, and the COA says which.

How much is in each capsule?

500 mcg, or 30 mg across the 60-capsule bottle.

Is TB-500 related to TA1?

No. Thymosin alpha-1 and thymosin beta-4 are different proteins; they only share a family name.
