IGF-1 LR3 is an 83-amino-acid, long-acting analog of IGF-1. This calculator is preset for our 0.1 and 1 mg vials. Enter how much diluent you added and the amount you want to measure out, and it returns the concentration and the volume to transfer, clearly.

Example values only. Replace them with your own. 1 mg = 1,000 mcg.

Share of the vial volume used by one transfer.

The transfer volume is larger than the diluent in the vial. The vial does not hold enough material for this amount.

Worked example. A 0.1 mg IGF-1 LR3 vial with 1 mL of diluent holds 0.1 mg/mL, or 100 mcg/mL. To measure out 10 mcg: 10 mcg ÷ 100 mcg/mL = 0.1 mL, which is 100 µL. These are arithmetic examples, not suggested amounts.

These are small vials: 0.1 mg is 100 mcg and 1 mg is 1,000 mcg. A larger diluent volume makes each transfer bigger and easier to measure.

IGF-1 LR3 by mass and by moles.

IGF-1 LR3 has a molecular weight of about 9,111 g/mol, so 1 mg holds roughly 109.8 nmol. For molar work, multiply any mg/mL figure above by 109.8 to get nmol/mL. Since 1 nmol/mL equals 1 µM, that figure is also the molar concentration in µM.

For laboratory research use only. This calculator performs unit and concentration arithmetic for laboratory work. It does not provide, and should not be used for, amounts for human or animal use. Always confirm calculations independently.

Questions.

How much bacteriostatic water do I add to a 0.1 mg IGF-1 LR3 vial?

There is no single right volume. With 1 mL, a 0.1 mg vial holds 0.1 mg/mL; with 2 mL it holds 0.05 mg/mL. Choose the volume that gives transfer volumes you can measure accurately, and that the vial can hold.

How many mcg are in a 0.1 mg IGF-1 LR3 vial?

100 mcg. One milligram is 1,000 micrograms.

What is the molecular weight of IGF-1 LR3?

About 9,111 g/mol, so 1 mg of IGF-1 LR3 is roughly 109.8 nmol.

Does this calculator tell me how much IGF-1 LR3 to use?

No. It does unit and concentration arithmetic for laboratory work only. It does not suggest amounts or any form of human or animal use, and our IGF-1 LR3 is sold for laboratory research only.
