Description

CJC-1295 No DAC, more precisely Modified GRF 1-29, is a 29-amino-acid analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone. Four amino-acid changes make it far more resistant to enzymes than sermorelin. We supply it in 5 mg and 10 mg lyophilized vials.

Chemical identity & storage

Compound / component CAS number Molecular weight Specification status
CJC-1295 No DAC 863288-34-0 3367.9 g/mol
Formula: C152H252N44O42

Storage: Keep sealed lyophilized material cold and protected from light. For long-term storage, keep at -20°C or below. After reconstitution, store at 2–8°C and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.

What CJC-1295 No DAC is.

The name is the confusing part. ConjuChem’s original CJC-1295 carried a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), a reactive linker that attaches the peptide to albumin in the blood and stretches its half-life to days.

Take the linker away and you have No DAC. It acts for a much shorter time, nearer to natural GHRH pulses. Its four substitutions, D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15 and Leu27, guard it against DPP-4 cleavage and oxidation.

At a glance.

Sequence Y-(D-Ala)-DAIFTQSYRKVLAQLSARKLLQDILSR-NH2

Changes from sermorelin D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15, Leu27
Molecular formula C152H252N44O42
Molecular weight ≈ 3368 g/mol
Also known as Mod GRF 1-29, modified GRF (1-29), tetrasubstituted GRF
Form Lyophilized powder
Strengths 5 mg or 10 mg per vial
Catalog reference SBL-9885

Where it fits in GH-axis research.

Mod GRF 1-29 is a tool for GHRH-receptor signalling and pulsatile growth hormone release. Researchers often pair it with the ghrelin-receptor agonist ipamorelin: the two signals act on separate pituitary receptors and reinforce each other. Its unmodified parent is sermorelin, and further down the axis sits IGF-1 LR3.

Documentation.

Available analytical documentation is organized by compound, strength and format in the COA library. Do not treat a report as lot-specific unless a documented lot match is shown.

Handling.

Until it is opened, store the vial cold and dry, shielded from light. Most labs mix it with bacteriostatic water and refrigerate the solution once it has been reconstituted.

Questions.

With DAC or without?

DAC ties the peptide to albumin so it lingers for days. Without it, the peptide clears far sooner.

Is CJC-1295 No DAC the same as Mod GRF 1-29?

Yes. They are two names for one peptide: GHRH 1-29 with four substitutions.

Why pair it with ipamorelin?

Because ipamorelin works through the ghrelin receptor and CJC-1295 through the GHRH receptor, pairing them shows how the two pathways combine.
