Description
KPV is a three-amino-acid peptide: lysine, proline and valine. Those are the final three residues of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). We supply KPV in a 10 mg lyophilized vial, with available analytical documentation is listed in the COA library.
Chemical identity & storage

Storage: Keep sealed lyophilized material cold and protected from light. For long-term storage, keep at -20°C or below. After reconstitution, store at 2–8°C and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
What KPV is.
α-MSH is a 13-residue hormone known for its roles in pigmentation and immune signalling. In laboratory models, researchers found that its last three amino acids alone reproduced much of its anti-inflammatory activity.
That made KPV a useful tool compound. It is small and cheap to make, and it does not engage the pigmentation receptors the way full α-MSH does.

What the research looks at.
Most KPV studies use cell and animal models of inflammation. Intestinal models get the most attention, including colitis models where KPV is taken up by gut cells through the PepT1 transporter; skin models come next. Researchers measure effects on NF-κB signalling and inflammatory cytokines. Human clinical data is minimal.
Related compounds.
KPV is the fourth ingredient in the KLOW peptide blend, alongside GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500.
Documentation.
Available analytical documentation is organized by compound, strength and format in the COA library. Do not treat a report as lot-specific unless a documented lot match is shown.
Handling.
Until it is opened, store the vial cold and dry, shielded from light. Most labs mix it with bacteriostatic water and refrigerate the solution once it has been reconstituted.
Questions.
What does KPV stand for?
It is the one-letter code for its sequence: K for lysine, P for proline, V for valine.
Is KPV the same as α-MSH?
No. It is only the last three of α-MSH’s 13 amino acids.
Which blends include KPV?
The KLOW blend contains 10 mg of KPV per vial.
